Here it is, this ladies umbrella matches our handmade gentlemen's umbrellas in terms of traditional craftsmanship as well as quality and attention to detail.
The extra-large canopy actually consists of two canopies: a uni-coloured outer canopy and an additional inner canopy made of cashmere. The outer canopy is made of special high-quality polyester fabric with interwoven slightly shining metal effects. The inner "camel hair"-coloured canopy shows a twofold dachshound. The material of the inner canopy is an absolute novelty in the umbrella world, it is made of valuable cashmere wool (detail). The 8 extra-strong ribs are black lacquered. The shaft is stained in brown and the Malacca handle is lacquered and polished. All metal peaces consist of shining gold-like brass and the handle sports the "Oertel Handmade" badge. The umbrella ships with a dark-green breathable cloth bag to protect the canopy as well as the valuable handle.

Oertel Handmade Classic IV Bordo Romano

This is a classic handmade umbrella of a slightly smaller size and can be used as a gentlemen’s as well as a lady’s umbrella.
The handle is made of Malacca-cane, the frame is especially stable and consists of a steel shaft and 8 black lacquered ribs. With its wooden ferrule, a uniform look is achieved between the handle and the umbrella top, without sacrificing the stability of a steel shaft.
The canopy is made of a high-quality polyester fabric. The many colours of the roman border are woven and not simply printed. (detail). We also include a dark-green cloth carrying bag to protect the entire umbrella, including canopy and handle.

In co-operation with our exclusive supplier - a small weaving mill in Como, Italy - we have produced an exquisite series of Ladies umbrellas.
The large and round canopy is made of high-quality dense polyester fabric. The elegant yet timeless design of big points has been woven in two colours. The inner side of the canopy sports the same colours and design. All technical details normally visible are sewn with fabric making them invisible. No plastic parts are used for this umbrella. The 8 extra-strong ribs are black lacquered. The shaft as well as the handle are stained in black. All metal peaces are nickel-plated and the handle sports the "Oertel Handmade" badge.
