The large and round canopy is made of high-quality dense polyester fabric. The elegant yet timeless design has been woven in contrasting colours for the inner and outer side of the canopy (Detail inside yellow/purple, petrol/cognac, red/navy). The colour combinations are beautiful and very impressive. All technical details normally visible are sewn with coloured fabric making them invisible. No plastic parts are used for this umbrella. The 8 extra-strong ribs are black lacquered. The shaft as well as the handle are stained in black. All metal peaces are nickel-plated and the handle sports the "Oertel Handmade" badge.
The umbrella ships with a black breathable cloth carrying bag to protect the canopy as well as the valuable handle.

Oertel Handmade Classic IV Bordo Romano

This is a classic handmade umbrella of a slightly smaller size and can be used as a gentlemen's as well as a lady's umbrella.
The handle is made of Malacca-cane, the frame is especially stable and consists of a steel shaft and 8 black lacquered ribs. With its wooden ferrule, a uniform look is achieved between the handle and the umbrella top, without sacrificing the stability of a steel shaft.
The canopy is made of a high-quality polyester fabric. The many colours of the roman border are woven and not simply printed. (detail).

The 8 extra-strong ribs are black lacquered. The stable wooden shaft is stained in black. The unusual handle has been exclusively made for us and is only used on this classic umbrella. It is made of plaited leather - an extremely complex work.

Oertel Handmade Ladies Star - pure silk

The canopy of this umbrella looks like two intertwinded stars. The outer side of the canopy is made of pure silk and the inner side is made of high-quality polyester-satin with a piping border.
The 8 extra-strong ribs are black lacquered. All metal peaces consist of shining gold-like brass. The stable wooden shaft is stained in black and sports a stable yet slim black handle.
While closed the umbrella's canopy is held together with a shining gold-like metal ring.
The umbrella ships with a black bag that can be used to carry the umbrella on the shoulder.

In co-operation with our exclusive supplier - a small weaving mill in Como, Italy - we have produced an exquisite series of Ladies umbrellas.
The large round and stable canopy is made of extremely dense polyester material. The basic colour and the texture are reminiscent of traditional British linen. The interwoven coloured satin stripes are a fashionable contrast. The border is made of black satin with interwoven silver-coloured lurex.
The timless and elegant look of the umbrella was achieved by an Italian designer.
